Renée Nicole Macklin Good (April 2, 1988 – January 7, 2026) was a 37-year-old American poet, writer, and mother of three who was shot and killed by an ICE agent during a federal operation in Minneapolis. A Colorado native, she was known as a devoted mother and creative writer who had recently moved to Minnesota. These were her last words. Be good, be kind, and be fearless in her honor and memory. RIP Renee.
