Collection: Bitterroot Water Partnership

Established in 1993, the Bitterroot Water Partnership is dedicated to protecting the clean, abundant water that sustains the Bitterroot Valley's communities, agriculture, wildlife, and way of life.

Protecting the headwaters of the Bitterroot River is central to that mission. The proposed mine at Sheep Creek would bring industrial mining to the river's source, putting clean water, fish and wildlife habitat, working lands, and the valley's natural heritage at risk.

Protecting clean water begins at its source. Protect Sheep Creek. Protect the Bitterroot.
